NOTE FROM CAROL's DAUGHTER... "Many may not be aware, so I want to be sure that everyone knows why this update has not been sent out since March 4th. Unfortunately, life changed suddenly for us on March 7th, Carol Lawson passed away unexpectedly. I won't go into any details other than to say mom had NOT been sick, I was with her when she passed, and we were out of town doing what she loved the most....going to hear Gospel Music and shopping at her favorite store. We celebrated Momma's life on Tuesday, March 17th filled with stories, memories, and music. To say these last (almost) three weeks have been tough is an understatement. But I know mom would want us all to carry on and continue to attend as many gospel concerts as we can.
So, to cherish mom's memory and legacy...I will do my best to continue sending out "Carol's Concert Schedule"!! I cannot promise that I will be able to fill her shoes, but I am going to do the best I can! With that, at this time I will not be able to send the list out weekly, like mom did. I will try to send it out twice a month, but as time permits you may start to see it more often.
I do ask that if you sing or know of concerts coming to the area (or in VA), please send me the information so it can get added. I will not be able to look up every single singer and group schedule. Mom's email address ([email protected]) will continue to be used to receive and send concert information. If that ever changes, you will know ahead of time.
In true mom fashion, I will continue the rest of the email as she always did....

Please help spread the word. We want to keep the groups coming to this area so having good attendance & generous love offerings is the key to keeping them coming.
If you know of any dates not shown here, please let me know so that I can get them added. Also, things are changing constantly, so please verify these dates before traveling out to the concerts.

Carol Lawson has been helping gospel groups and spreading the word of their music for many years. Her daughter Rachel will be updating this continually to keep up the Concert Sheet for events in the Richmond, Virginia and surrounding areas.
This website will post her concert sheets and any upcoming special events.
